Amnesia

A slow disease has come over me lately
The cracks have already taken over my face
I despise the person time has made of me
There's no way out of this endless maze

My brain is covered with my sweet amnesia
I wish I could at least remember your voice
They call it nature's way of making things easier
I keep forgetting every detail without any choice

Would you even remember me in a condition like this?
They say I should be glad, because ignorance is bliss.
