A Pretty Little Mermaid

The pretty little fishes swam by and said hello
Her fin was far too beautiful, noone told her to go

The pretty little mermaid stayed there until dawn
she thought she found a place to sleep, said goodnight with a yawn

At night the sea grows darker, the creatures come alive
Her pretty fin stopped shining, she needed it to survive.

If they take what keeps you floating
you‘re doomed to sink and drown
make sure to hide your weaknesses
they‘re gonna drag you down</sub>

Yep, I (Lena) drew that, I know I’m not that good at drawing (I can’t even do shading) but I had the idea in my mind for a while now and I wanted to make something of it. It’s based around the idea that society accepts you, as long as you’re good at something. If you lose the ability, you might experience that some people that you thought were your friends devour you and leave you behind, they only tolerated you because of that THING, not for YOU. Be careful who you trust, the prettiest little fishes might turn into merciless blood-hungry monsters when they won’t be able to take advantage of you anymore.
